Bookbinding - Hard Back (Case Bound)

The cover (front, back and spine) is printed in colour in one piece then laminated and mounted to a robust card.  The text pages are then machine glued/mounted to the hard cover to form a highly stable and long lasting book.

Bookbinding - Soft back

(Perfect Bound)

An example of this is a paperback book.  The pages are held together by a super-strength glue between the cover and the text pages.  The front, back and spine of the cover is printed in colour in one piece and is usually laminated and of a heavier stock (250–300gsm) than the text pages.

Stapled Booklet (Saddle Stitched)

The pages are held together with two high-strength staples placed at the spine.  The cover may be laminated and could also be of a heavier stock than the text pages.

Wire Binding (Wire 'O' Binding)

Well known and widely used spiral binding technique is a favourite in business situations – architects, engineers etc.
