At Rayprographics we try to work with almost any file format supplied to us, however we can return work to you more quickly and of an even higher quality if digital files are supplied bearing the following in mind:
 
Software fully supported by Rayprographics.
We currently support the following file formats:
 
Macintosh
Quark - Version 6.5
Adobe PDF - all Versions.
Adobe Illustrator - Version 9
Adobe Photoshop - Version 6
Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)- Version 2
Freehand - Version 9
 
PC
Corel Draw 10
Microsoft Office 2000
Publisher 2002
 
We may be able to use files from other software if they are exported to a common format such as PDF, EPS, TIFF or JPEG.  Please call us to check compatibility.

 

Documents A4/A3

  • All mainstream software applications in Macintosh &  PC file formats accepted

  • Preferably, save as PDF in one single file, include blank pages if necessary

  • PDF Should be EXACT size with NO crop marks

  • Where BLEED is required add 3mm all round

Large Format

  • Preferred file format are: PDF, EPS, TIFF or JPEG

  • Should be exact size with NO BLEEDS and NO CROPMARKS

Colour

  • Use PantoneTM  spot colours for accurate results

 Fonts

  • Embed or convert to outlines where possible

  • If not, supply all fonts - both suitcase and postscript for Macintosh

Images

  • For large format prints scanned images should be 110dpi at the output size

  • Keep images in original format ie do not convert RGB to CMYK
